Ha ha, way to steal my story. In fact, I'm going to call you to complain. Okay, here are my actual comments:
1. Having shot this church, I'd say it'd be a disservice to have the story in black and white. I'm not saying it can't work, but i do think the colors at this place add so much to your understanding of the church. That said, if I were to shoot it black and white, I'd be focusing on the punk rock aspect.
2. I like the tight crop on the girl praying better. It looks good in black and white, too. However I still would rather see the story in color.
3. I'm torn on whether to use the guy in wings from the side or straight on. I think the straight on shot is a cleaner, more interesting moment. Then again, the photo from the side gives you more context as to where he is.
4. Next time I'm in town I'd love to look at both our stuff from the church. Hell, maybe it could be the NP's first project...ha ha.

A nice set of images. I like the middle one a lot. A nice start to a religion story. You should definitely continue with it.

The second image is the strongest, love the perspective and the feel of the subjects "devotion"
The 3rd, I would have liked to seen the one from your re-edits.
